In this beginning weaving class with Fabricate Atlanta, we learn how to create a woven wall hanging from start to finish.  Students wind a warp onto a tapestry loom, weave using both yarn and roving, and complete a finished wall hanging.  The loom is provided, and the course fee includes all materials.  These wall hangings are great to give as a gift, or keep for yourself!

Students will be introduced to various artists, and will work on finding their style, brainstorming ideas, and working on a "long term" art piece that they will work on throughout the session. This session of classes will ALSO include an off-site field trip, AND a little art show, complete with opening night reception for our students!
