Advanced Herbalism - The Art of Herbal Formulation

  • Location in Registration Info Clayton, GA (map)

Join Botanologos to learn to create safe, effective herbal formulas to treat both acute and complex, chronic health conditions in this interactive class. Together we’ll deconstruct, and construct, the components of traditional formulas derived from the Physio-Medicalist, Cherokee, Bell, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic and Triune systems. You’ll learn to understand the reasoning and therapeutic logic behind many classic, time-honored formulas as well as common commercial herb products.

After experimenting with various formulation methods, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to create your own custom herb formulas whether your apothecary contains 30 herbs or two hundred.  Throughout the weekend we’ll discuss a wide range of herbs but always with an emphasis on local plants.

Times: Saturday 10-6; Sunday 9-5
Location: Clayton, GA - exact location included in your registration information

These classes are open to everyone though some basic understanding of herbalism is recommended. Teacher: Leslie Williams
