Advanced Herbalism - Water Element: Kidney and Bladder

  • Location in Registration Info Clayton, GA (map)

Understanding the energetic concepts underlying Five Element theory provides you with a framework to recognize patterns of strength and weakness when assessing clients and creating treatment plans. Join Botanologos to examine one of the Five Elements as a holistic expression of health, personality/character and psycho-spiritual wellbeing. Using case studies, you’ll see how elemental imbalances manifest in common health conditions. Specific herbs, from both Western and Chinese medicine, are covered as well as guidelines for diet and lifestyle.

Sometimes described as the reservoir of the body, the Water Element sets the pace for physical growth, governs the function of the deep immune system and connects us to our past and future. We’ll look at many of the metaphysical aspects of this element, as well as the role tonic herbs and foods play in restoring reserves and slowing down the process of aging.
