We’ve joined forces with The Homestead Atlanta and The Celtic Gardener, Anne-Marie Anderson, for our crash course in keeping backyard chickens! This class will cover legislation, coop design, breed selection, care and feeding. You will also receive a resource list of local chicken groups, vets, chick and feed sources. Anne-Marie keeps an urban backyard flock in Decatur, GA. She is Chair of the Atlanta Urban Coop Tour, and enjoys spreading the word about sustainable gardening and urban farming. The last 30 min of the class is Q&A. Bonus: get to meet and handle one of Anne-Marie’s feathered friends!
