Knitting is such a wonderful hobby. In just a few evenings you can create wearable projects that last a lifetime. In this short series with Fabricate Atlanta, we’ll work from start to finish, talking about yarns, weights and their different uses, which needles to use when and then stitch up a project together.
This class is perfect for a total newbie or as a refresher if it’s been a while since you had your hands on your needles; we can tailor the class to meet your skill level so that you leave each class excited about what you’ve learned.
Skills Learned: the different knitting tools and their uses, how to cast on (i.e. begin), knit, purl and bind off (i.e. end). knitting in the round, increase and decrease stitches, the different properties of yarn and the uses for various weights, problem-solving for common knitting mistakes and challenges.
