Alright, fancy pants – it’s time to kick up your knitting game with the coolest move: cabling. Way easier than it looks and a great way to make gorgeous creations, come find out how to get twisted with your knitting. We’ll be creating adorably lovely boot tops or headbands that would make a fantastic, easy holiday gift.
Prerequisite: having taken Knitting 201 or having a comfortable working knowledge of both the knit and purl stitches. Please come to the workshop with the following items – or let us know if you’d like us to gather them for you for an additional supply fee:
- A skein of smooth worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn (no navy, black or dark shades)
- 24" circular needles appropriate for the yarn
- Cable needle
About the Instructor:
Nell Ziroli is a perpetual knitter, published designer and enthusiastic teacher. She comes from a family of knitters and otherwise crafty people and has been creating things by hand for as long as she can remember. She also feels at home in the kitchen.
