And now, when you reach into your pantry, you’ll find all kinds of aids and inspirations to prepare your daily meals – or your company treats! Taught by Preserving Now's Master Preserver, Lyn Deardorff and Guest Chef, Karin Kane, you'll learn:

Mustards:  Yellow, Brown, Flavored. Did you know you can make these at home? And refrigerator safe for long periods of time.

Ketchup:  How to make a basic Ketchup. And we’ll prepare Kicky Ketchup, bottled and so useful for meats, eggs – you name it!

Mayonnaise: Homemade mayonnaise has a silkiness, an elegance, that you won’t find in any commercial preparation. Add herbs for various flavor profiles. With or without eggs!

Vinaigrettes:  So many possibilities! We’ll start by making up Pickled Cherry Tomatoes, then whisk them into a flavorful Tomato Vinaigrette. We’ll enjoy our creation on a green salad. 

Take home a jar of Mustard, Kicky Ketchup, Mayonnaise, and Pickled Tomato Vinaigrette – plus full instructions & various recipe ideas.
