Did you know that many of the plants that address common summer ailments grow in your own backyard? Join us for a wonderful afternoon at Serenbe where we’ll explore the forest, learning to identify and forage for medicinal plants. Known as wildcrafting, this type of harvesting healing herbs from the wild requires a knowledge of where, when, and how to harvest each plant. We’ll cover these botany, identification and ethics components during our foraging ramble.
After our walk, we’ll return to the scenic and funky Serenbe Art Farm to turn our finds into healing spritzes or salves. You’ll learn to go from plant to medicine in this exciting afternoon and leave with a herbal craft of your own creation. We’ll also wind down the workshop by sharing a seasonal herbal cocktail and answering any remaining questions.
