Join everybody's favorite local foragers from Crack in the Sidewalk Farmlet to learn the basics of finding edible foods right beneath your feet. Discuss not only identification and possible preparations of wild foods but also foraging safety, ethics, and more. Fall in Atlanta is a fantastic time to get a second growth of the spring's leafy greens as well as stock up on nuts. You'll be amazed by the edible wonderland around you that you've simply never noticed before.

Parking is available in the lot across the street or along Burroughs Ave.

About the Instructor:
Crack in the Sidewalk Farmlet is a small urban farm in the southern outskirts of Atlanta. Chris Clinton, Isia Cooper, and other members of the Crack in the Sidewalk community including Cory Kilcoyne have spent the last seven years carving out an agricultural niche in the city on their farm, and have forged reputations as local experts on urban foraging.
