Health & Wellness
The best way to stay healthy is to heed that clever old Hippocrates’s suggestion about food being your medicine and vice versa. But with all the dietary trends out there, it can be hard to know what’s best for your health.
Get a wonderful overview of traditional diets as well as the various ways different health systems across the world have approached food. From Core Foundation Diets (e.g. Mediterranean Diet) to the Tradidional Chinese Medicine approach to nutrition therapy, you’ll learn about the energetics of foods and how to tailor what you eat to what your body needs – not the latest fad.
We’ll have some fun in the kitchen as well as enjoy tastings as we work. Go home knowing the basics of fermentation, broths, recipes to promote healing and more. (Please contact us in advance if you have specific food sensitivities.)
