***Due to a family emergency, we are cancelling tonight's event but will offer a workshop on it soon. See you next month for Local Potions with Cherokee Moon***
Join Julia Skinner and Explore Wildwood's Jenn Fletcher for a colorful evening as they walk us through the history and process of making inks and paints from natural materials.
We'll explore what plants and other organic sources yield wonderful art supplies, discuss best practices for foraging, and have a chance to try out some of the pigments they make during a question and answer session. See you there! Doors at 6:30, Demo 7-8ish.
Proceeds from the tickets from this event goes directly to The Homestead Atlanta. Homestead Atlanta members are welcome for FREE (though if you wanted to buy a ticket as an additional contribution, we certainly wouldn't be mad about it!)
About Curiosity Club:
What could be better than capping off your hump day with an evening of know-how? Join Eventide Brewing and The Homestead Atlanta for a series of talks and demonstrations by some of the city’s coolest artisans, growers, makers, doers, and shakers. It’s like sharing a friendly pint with your most interesting friend – except there might be metal hammering involved.
Eventide was created by three friends with a dedication to the integrity of the handmade, and it shows in the brewery itself. Join us for $10 which Eventide generously donates to The Homestead Atlanta. From there, you can purchase as many or as few tasting pours as you'd like. Enjoy a souvenir pint glass, the company of Atlanta’s coolest & most curious folks, and a brain full of sweet, sweet knowledge. Come get your learning on AND help our little nonprofit grow!
