About the Instructor:
Darby is one half of a young husband and wife homesteading team growing wholesome, biodynamic food at Sun Dog Farm. She has a degree in sustainable agriculture from Sterling College and has also been asked to lead a biodynamics intensive at the John C. Campbell Folk School. She has been farming with her husband Elliot for 7 years, and they are learning more every day. Their property was originally farmed biodynamically by their mentor and inspiration Hugh Lovel, who farmed the land for over 30 years. They are honored to carry on the growing traditions of the land and hope to bring just as much life to the farm as they harvest from it.
