"Nature's Remedies" Book Signing & Workshop [SOLD OUT]

  • Eventide Brewing 1015 Grant Street Southeast Atlanta, GA, 30315 United States (map)

*This workshop is sold out of supplies and books, but you can still join us for $10 at the door if you'd like to join us for the talk, tastes and camaraderie!*

We're so excited to welcome author and herbalist Jean Willoughby to Atlanta for the release of her new book Nature's Remedies: An Illustrated Guide to Healing Herbs! This beginner-friendly guide welcomes a new generation to the trusted tradition. Engagingly written for a wide audience, it presents richly detailed profiles of more than 60 herbs, including cultural history, uses, tips and beautiful watercolor illustrations – all in a gift-worthy, hardcover package.

Join us for a beginner-friendly herbal workshop where we'll make lip balms and first aid salves using herbs and simple ingredients and learn about summer's abundant medicinal and edible herbs including chickweed, sorrel, elderberry, St. John's wort, plantain, and more.

Refreshing sweet and tangy hibiscus tea & homebrewed anise hyssop soda pop will be served! Plus, the workshop will be held at Eventide Brewing if you'd like to explore the medicinal values of hops with a delicious local beer or two!

The first 50 registrants for this workshop will receive a FREE copy of Nature's Remedies thanks to the generous folks at Chronicle Books. So be sure to reserve your spot today!
