Bone Broth is magical due to the healing properties of collagen, gelatin, and amino acids. It’s known to reduce inflammation throughout the intestinal lining as well as help repair the walls that have been under stress from leaky gut, diverticulitis or other bowel and stomach issues. This class is led by Chef Ryanne Rothenberg from Ry’s Table and will feature Melissa from Four Bellies Farm. Four Bellies Farm is a small sustainable pastured property in Bowdon, GA that produces grass-fed, non-gmo, soy-free animal products as well as mineral-rich bone broth. Together, we will take you on an educational journey on the health benefits of consuming bone broth, as well as the importance of animal products from a sustainable pastured farm. You will learn how to make your own bone broth to keep your immune system strong as we head into winter, and enjoy a Vietnamese Pho inspired meal prepared by Chef Ryanne. This class will contain meat products from Melissa’s farm: i.e not vegetarian. However it will be dairy-free and gluten-free.
This class is part of the Good Gut Series hosted at The Learning Kitchen that dives deep into exploring topics on gut health with rotating themes. It addresses the growing nutritional trends of gluten-free, paleo, dairy-free, vegan (or avoiding certain foods) while also making it fun and approachable! Together through cooking, tasting and drinks, we educate and empower you to feel more confident in brands, working with whole foods, preparing meals from scratch with seasonal ingredients and finding a holistic approach to healing your gut! Every class you are fed a full-sit down dinner, drinks and leave with recipes in hand.
