Know Your Foodshed is a series of classes where we will discuss our local agricultural landscape and hear from farmers, artisans, fellow chefs and nutrition educators on how our food choices create a secure food system. For each class, Ryanne (of Ry's Table) will partner with a new member from our local food system and bring you specially crafted drinks and small bites to make the featured topic shine! Ask burning questions and learn about the process, distribution and preparation of the whole foods these masters of their field cultivate. These classes will connect you with locavore food enthusiast and empower you with the knowledge to make more informed decisions about where and how you source your eats.
This class will focus on artisans and small-batch craft makers. Be it beer, honey, cheese, granola, or fermented products, Atlanta has so many amazing craftspeople that can share their knowledge about an industry. Learn the benefits of supporting a small batch producer, and of course have a fun time sampling tasters of their products in person.
