Join Tara De Róiste (Feakle, Co. Clare), Christopher Gambatese (Cork) an 11 day journey to the natural, sacred and mystical sites of Ireland.
We will seek out stone circles on isolated hillsides, walk with local herbalists and explore the ancient forests and bioregions that only exist on this magical isle. We will weave in traditional music and storytelling, meet new plants and hear tales of ancient fairy folk, while also immersing ourselves in contemporary Irish culture much of which is still rooted in its folklore and traditions. One of the great things about this trip is we stay in two beautiful, countryside lodgings and base trips from there making the journey more restful and rooted than others.
On this trip we aim to facilitate healing through connection to the ancient, sacred places of Ireland while also exploring ways that we can practice reciprocity, giving back to the Irish environment and community. We will learn about pioneering environmental and cultural regeneration projects and how we can support them and will also get our hands dirty with some pay-it-forward medicine making evenings which will generate supplies for use in a mobile herbal medicine clinic which supports the Dublin homeless community.
The land of Éire has much to give and we wish to give back as much as we can.

We travel in small groups of 18 to 24 participants. Our current tours focus on 3 regions within the province of Munster (Clare, Limerick, West Cork/Kerry). Unlike the typical whistle stop tour where you’re hurriedly dragged from one end of the country to the other, spending long periods of time each day on a bus, our more focused, unrushed itinerary creates a more tranquil and deeper experience. Less traveling time and distance also means increased opportunities to meet more guides and explore more special places.
The cost of the trip is €2400 (Euros). Cost includes:
*Lodging: Rooms are double occupancy (extra fee for private room)
*Meals: Three meals a day are included in package. You will be fed with wonderful nourishing food both while dining out and other meals catered by specially selected chefs. One lunch and one dinner are on your own (not included in price) where you can choose where you wish to dine in 2 different towns we will be visiting. Breakfasts are self-catered, but a wide variety of foods will be provided.
Healthy, local, vibrant food is very important to us. We have carefully selected unique eating establishments and caterers whose culinary creations will provide a true taste of Ireland. You will have the opportunity to sample some of Ireland’s best wild cuisine along the way and be treated to a wild food feast prepared by a professional foraging caterer. Most dietary requirements can be catered for.
*Transportation: from Shannon Airport (our meeting place) to the accommodations and all destinations throughout the entire journey. Our own private, comfortable bus and incredible driver, Fred.
*All entrance fees
*All classes, instruction, and educational materials
The trip costs DO NOT include round trip airfare to Ireland, or items of a personal nature (telephone calls, personal tips, etc), alcoholic beverages at meals. Please inquire now about private rooms, as there is limited availability and an additional fee for this.
